Welcome to my web site. I hope you enjoy finding out what I have to offer you.

It is all about running a successful chiropractic office from the very basic start of finding and building a practice to the end result of how to serve as many families as you want to. It explains the importance of lifetime care and how to educate the staff and practice members to understand the value of an adjustment.

This book has many pointers about why we do what we do which is especially helpful to those who think that they may just be a ‘receptionist’. This book will also I hope help you realize why this can never be ‘just a job’. This is a lifestyle and a vocation.

This manual is A4 in size, is 101 pages long and has everything that a chiropractor and chiropractic assistant should know about front desk management and personal growth.

It is filled with procedures, policies, scripts we use every day, also lots of ideas to promote patient visits, colour photos and many examples that I do in and outside of our office and they are all done with the purist of intent and with love. Also the book explains how within five weeks of opening our clinic doors we had 108 new patients. There are some examples of pages from my book included and a contents page for you to look at.

How my book was born…

It was a windy, wet and cold winter’s day and my husband and I decided to go out to our favorite place for lunch. After a hearty Sunday roast dinner at the Oak Barn restaurant in January 2007 my husband (Grant) and I sat down in these large comfortable armchairs next to an inglenook open roaring log fire talking over the last remnants of the red wine that was left. That afternoon my book was born. I had received so many positive responses at the seminars I had talked at from CA’s (chiropractic assistants) who just “didn’t know” or “didn’t realize”, that Grant suggested that I put it all down in writing. It occurred to me that Grant was right, there is nothing out there for CA’s to enable them to learn how to continue to grow mentally and spiritually and that if I wrote a book, it would not only benefit the CA’s in their job but also will help the patients healing rate and in turn their practice growth.

Having never written a book before I had no idea even where to start. All I knew was that I wanted to share my eight years of knowledge, put it onto paper in an interesting and fun way. Once I let go of trying to be “professional” the words just flew down my fingers and everything became very personal and actually happened in chapter order! It was effortless and I loved every minute of writing down my experiences.

I met Dr Reginald Gold DC, PhC in Spain four years ago and I emailed him explaining that I was writing this chiropractic book and would he write a foreword for it. He surprisingly remembered me and said he would read my book and let me know. It never occurred to me that he would say “No!” Or not do it. His foreword made me realize how lucky I was that he even said he would read it. When I read the foreword I was so bowled over that he liked it. I just sat there for ten minutes going “WOW!”
